It has been a long domestic season, but England’s June international schedule should not be taxing, as before a friendly against Senegal, they embark on a trip to Barcelona to face minnows Andorra in their third match of the 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign.
Thomas Tuchel should take the opportunity to try out a few different options with bigger tests on the horizon and it would be a surprise if England did not muster a comfortable success.

Best Bet: England to win & over 4.5 Goals @ 6/5
The fixture list has been kind to England after their players have been involved in gruelling domestic campaigns across Europe and while a trip to Andorra does not quite mean the start of the summer holidays, history suggests they will come through this World Cup qualifier with flying colours.
They won 5-0 on their last visit despite keeping stars such as Harry Kane and Declan Rice under wraps and there are plenty of fringe players who would love to impress Thomas Tuchel, so the fact they have scored at least three goals in four of their last five games suggest they can score at least five against one of the continent’s weakest outfits.
Ian Wilkerson says:
England rarely slip up when it comes to qualifiers and Saturday’s match should be no exception. Thomas Tuchel has a squad packed full of goal threats and I fancy they could run riot against an Andorran team who look out of their depth.

This Bet Builder builds off form, data and tactical profiles. England have scored 25 goals in their six matches against Andorra and won 5-0 on their last visit so they should be backed to score at least five again.
Former Brentford striker Ivan Toney has scored 23 goals for Al-Ahli in the Saudi Professional League this year, including four in his final five games, so expect him to take advantage of his surprise call-up by finding the net even if he doesn’t start.
Cole Palmer has played just two Nations League matches but had 52 shots on target in his last 43 starts for Chelsea, so he can test the Andorra goalkeeper more than once on Saturday.

Ian Wilkerson adds:
This match is a great opportunity for some players to prove their value to Tuchel and both Palmer and Toney can do that by making telling contributions in what should be an easy win for the Three Lions.

It will come as no surprise that the Andorrans will be intent on damage limitation, but there have been some interesting selection decisions.
The experienced pair Marc Pujol and Albert Rosas Ubach have been left out of the squad, but they should be lining up in a 4-5-1 to try and keep the score down.
Expected Andorra line up (4-5-1): Alvarez; San Nicolas, Llovera, Olivera, Garcia; Rodrigo, Vales, Babot, Cervos; Fernandez.
England manager Tuchel has left Phil Foden, Marcus Rashford and Dominic Solanke at home as he looks to observe some of the other players he hopes will make a telling contribution at next summer’s World Cup.
He should field his preferred 4-2-3-1 formation with Bukayo Saka, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Palmer all expected to feature from the off. Expected England lineup:
Expected England line up (4-2-3-1): Pickford; Alexander-Arnold, Konsa, Colwill, Lewis-Skelly; Rice, Bellingham; Saka, Palmer, Gordon; Kane.
