The UEFA Europa League clash between Ajax and Besiktas kicks off at 20:00 BST on Thursday 26th September and will be played at the Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam.
Postponements domestically mean Ajax have played only four Eredivisie games, with two wins and a draw seeing them sit in ninth spot, already 10 points adrift of PSV Eindhoven, albeit with two games in hand.
Ajax came through three qualifying rounds to get here, winning five and drawing one of those six games.
Besiktas only had one hurdle to clear and they overcame Swiss side Lugano, eventually winning the second leg 5-1 at home after a 3-3 draw in the first clash.
They are third in the Super Lig, with four wins and a draw from five games but the Black Eagles have lost all four previous meetings against their Dutch hosts.
The duo most recently met in the 2021/22 UEFA Champions League, with Ajax winning 2-0 at home and 2-1 in Turkey.
