All eyes will be on Morocco for the 35th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, with six cities set to host this major tournament.
We examine each of the nine selected stadiums and which matches they will play host to during the Africa Cup of Nations.
City - Casablanca
Capacity - 45,000
Matches - Third-place playoff, round of 16, group stages
Opened in 1955, Stade Mohammed V is one of Africas most iconic football venues and the home of Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca and Wydad AC.
The stadium has hosted numerous CAF finals, World Cup qualifiers and AFCON matches, and will stage the tournament-s third-place playoff.
City - Rabat
Capacity - 69,500
Matches - Final, semi-final, quarter-final, group stages
The Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium is the new home of the Morocco national team and was opened in September 2025.
This new venue will host the opening game of this season's Africa Cup of Nations and also the final.
City - Tangier
Capacity - 75,600
Matches - Semi-final, quarter-final, round of 16, group stages
Opened in 2011, Tangier Grand Stadium is one of the largest stadiums in Africa and sits just outside the city of Tangier.
It has hosted matches at the FIFA Club World Cup and was a regular venue for Morocco internationals.
City - Marrakesh
Capacity - 45,000
Matches - Quarter-final, round of 16, group stages
Officially opened in 2011, Marrakesh Stadium is a modern venue located close to the city centre.
The stadium has hosted CAF competitions, FIFA Club World Cup fixtures and international friendlies.
City - Agadir
Capacity - 4500
Matches - Quarter-final, round of 16, group stages
Opened in 2013, Adrar Stadium is a striking modern arena that serves as the home of Hassania Agadir.
It has regularly hosted Morocco national team matches and continental fixtures.
City - Fez
Capacity - 45,000
Matches - Round of 16, group stages
Fez Stadium opened in 2007 and is home to Maghreb de Fès.
The stadium has hosted CAF Confederation Cup matches and international fixtures, and returns as an AFCON venue.
City - Rabat
Capacity - 22,000
Matches - Round of 16, group stages
Located in the capital, this smaller stadium has been refurbished ahead of AFCON and will host group fixtures and one round-of-16 tie.

A newly built venue opened in May 2025, this compact and multi-purpose stadium adds to Rabat’s football infrastructure and will host several group matches during the tournament.

One of the smaller stadiums in the competition and formerly known as Al Barid Stadium, Al Medina Stadium will play a vital role in hosting group games in this latest AFCON.
