Ipswich Town have had a baptism of fire in the Premier League with opening defeats to Liverpool and Manchester City and they will hope for some respite in the EFL Cup at League Two AFC Wimbledon, where they won 3-1 in the third round of last season’s FA Cup.

Ipswich have failed to score in just one of their last 12 away games, which included Saturday’s 4-1 defeat at Premier League champions Manchester City.
