The Scottish Women’s Premier League started on Saturday and Aberdeen Women and Rangers Women meet in the late game on Sunday.
Rangers missed out on the title on goal difference alone last season as city rivals Celtic claimed the spoils, while Aberdeen finished in the relegation group but never looked in any peril of dropping out of the division as they ended up 25 points clear of danger.
Aberdeen Women v Rangers Women will be broadcast on BBC Alba, BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website in the UK.
Aberdeen Women v Rangers Women will be played at Balmoral Stadium in Aberdeen and kick-off is at 16:10 BST on Sunday 10th August 2024.
Rangers Women were 35 points above the Dons Women when the league split after 22 games last season.
Rangers Women have won each of the last nine meetings between these two sides, outscoring their hosts 7-2 across the two league fixtures last season.
Both teams have scored in each of Aberdeen Women’s last eight competitive games.

This will be Dons boss Colin Bell’s first game in charge of the club after joining over the summer following a stint in charge of the South Korean women’s national team.
Bell replaces Clint Lancaster, who stepped down at the end of last season.
Aberdeen have lost some key players over the summer as Bayley Hutchison, Eilidh Shore and Jessica Broadrick all rejected new deals, but loan arrival Gracie Robertson should feature.
Rangers boss Jo Potter should have a full squad to select from and she is confident her side are ready to hit the ground running going into the new season.
She told Rangers TV: “We’ve hit all the targets that we’ve wanted (in pre-season).
“Hopefully it comes to fruition when we get to the Aberdeen game and I have no doubt the players will be ready physically.”
