Dubbed the 'Battle of the legends', Mayweather vs Zambidis will be held at the 19,000-capacity Telekom Center in Athens, Greece.

The venue primarily serves as a basketball arena, and is currently home to both Panathinaikos B.C. and the Greek national team.

Who is Mike Zambidis?

A multiple-time world champion, Mike Zambidis competed more than 180 times as a professional kickboxer between 2000 and 2015.

Nicknamed 'Iron Mike' for his KO power, Zambidis was known for closing the distance and attempting to land damaging punches in close.

The 45-year-old is one of Greece's most celebrated sporting sons, and competed mainly around 154lbs during his decorated career.

Zambidis' most recent outing actually came in the boxing ring as he made his one and to date, only professional boxing bow - winning a four round unanimous decision against fellow kickboxer Antonio Gomez in 2019.
