FK Bodo/Glimt enjoyed another profitable campaign in the Norwegian Eliteserien as they romped to a third domestic title; and they will now be hoping to maintain their impressive Europa Conference League form.

Despite being beaten at home and away by Club Brugge in the group stages, they did secure qualification, in second place, after taking 10 points from their other four fixtures against Besiktas and Lugano.

Ajax meanwhile, entered the Europa Conference League playoffs having finished third in their Europa League group; one that included winners Brighton & Hove Albion and Marseille.

The two sides met last Thursday for the first time in a competitive fixture with the game ending in stalemate, and ensuring that everything is left to play for in the second leg this week.

FK Bodo/Glimt v Ajax team news

FK Bodo/Glimt team news

FK Bodo/Glimt have no major injury concerns ahead of the clash, but will be without Odin Bjortuft through suspension.

The 25-year-old was dismissed in stoppage time during the first-leg affair, meaning he will be forced to watch from the sidelines as his side look to upset the European giants and progress through to the last 16.

Ajax team news

Steven Berghuis is Ajax's biggest injury concern ahead of the clash with the experienced frontman still nursing a troublesome leg injury.

He did manage to complete 90 minutes the last time the sides met, and chipped in with a crucial stoppage time leveller, but he is a doubt for the return clash in Norway.

Brian Brobbey and Jordan Henderson, who has yet to win a game since joining the Eredivisie side, are also doubts because of injuries.
