Record-breaking Irish trainer Willie Mullins will be hoping that Final Demand can do the business on the second day of the 2025 Cheltenham Festival.
The six-year-old has had just two outings since moving to Mullins' yard but they have both resulted in comprehensive performances.
The Maiden Hurdle win at Limerick just prior to the new year was emphatic as he triumphed by 15 lengths under the stewardship of Danny Mullins.
But it was the Grade 1 outing at the Dublin Racing Festival where Final Demand truly showed his Cheltenham credentials last month.
The 11/8 shot duly justified the pre-race favouritism as he trounced a strong field by 12 lengths, which saw him cut considerably in the betting for a handful of Cheltenham races.
Mullins has settled on the opening race of day two as the preferred destination for Final Demand, with the likes of The New Lion and The Yellow Clay likely to provide stern competition.
But a display similar to the one at Leopardstown will be tough to beat if he can replicate that performance in the Cotswolds.
