32 years passed between the first and second female jockey to ride a winner at Royal Ascot with Hayley Turner's 2019 success putting an end to hiatus that was far too long following Gay Kelleway's 1987 win aboard Sprowston Boy.
Turner went onto strike three more times at the Royal meeting before her retirement in 2025.
Hollie Doyle has the opportunity to eclipse that tally when she arrives at the five-day event in June level with Turner on four winners at the meeting.

Doyle surpassed Hayley Turner as the winning-most female jockey in Britain when she rode her 1,023rd winner at Royal Ascot in May.
She struck Royal Ascot gold in 2023 when she rode a historic cross-meeting treble with Bradsell, Rhythm N Hooves and Saint Lawrence all making their way into the winners' enclosure.
Saffie Osbourne
Predominantly riding for her father Jamie, Saffie Osbourne looks to be the latest superstar female amongst the UK flat jockey ranks.
Her most famous success to date came when she partnered Metier to Chester Cup glory in 2023 for Harry Fry.
Still just 23, Osbourne will make the journey to America to ride in the Grade 1 Belmont Stakes. This comes after the finished fifth aboard Heart Of Honour in the famous Preakness Stakes in May.
