FA Cup fifth round fixtures will take place between Monday 27th February and Thursday 2nd March, 2023.
Confirmed fixture dates for all fixtures will be announced in due course.
The draw for the sixth round of this year’s competition will take place on Thursday 2nd March, ahead of the final remaining fifth round ties.
The draw will be made live on BBC One as well as being live streamed on the official Emirates FA Cup Twitter and Facebook social media channels.
There will be just eight balls in the hat for the sixth round draw.
Teams who draw their fifth round tie will both be represented by a single ball number, with the winner of the replay then taking on the side they are drawn out against in the quarter-finals of the competition.
Ball numbers for the sixth round draw will be confirmed in due course.
Due to disruption caused by Covid-19, replays were scrapped at both the third and fourth round stage during the 2020/21 and 2021/22 campaigns.
However, this season, FA Cup replays have been reinstated.
The sixth round of the competition was unaffected however, and that remains the case, meaning replays will be undertaken for any ties that end all-square.
Extra-time and penalties will determine who progresses from the replays if the fixtures are level after 90 minutes.
Draw dates and times are yet to be confirmed for the quarter-final and semi-finals, although we do know the fixture dates of each of those stages of this season’s competition:
FA Cup quarter-finals - Saturday 18th / Sunday 19th March.
FA Cup semi-finals - Saturday 22nd / Sunday 23rd April.
FA Cup Final - Saturday 3rd June.
