Held at the Shanghai International Circuit, the Chinese Grand Prix has been a staple of the Formula 1 calendar since its inception in 2004.

Suspended from 2020 to 2023 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Chinese Grand Prix returned in 2024 and is contracted to be held at the Shanghai International Circuit until at least 2030.

Lewis Hamilton is the most successful driver in the race's history with six wins, though Max Verstappen was top of the podium for the Grand Prix's return in 2024.
