Verstappen and Norris reconvene battle

Fresh from their controversial incident at the Austrian Grand Prix, Verstappen and Norris are expected to reignite their battle at the front as tensions heighten among the leading pair.

A fight for the race win in Spielberg saw Verstappen and Norris collide on lap 64 and George Russell profited to secure Mercedes their first win of the season.

McLaren's enhanced MCL38 package has prompted several excellent tussles between the pair and despite Christian Horner's attempts to defuse the situation, more fireworks are expected this weekend.

Verstappen is as short as 1/8 to finish on the podium, while Norris is 2/9 to secure back-to-back top three finishes at the British Grand Prix.

Mercedes flying the Union Jack

Mercedes' British pairing of Russell and Lewis Hamilton are 16/1 and 18/1 to win the race respectively, with the former coming into the weekend full of confidence following his surprise triumph in Austria.

There's been a marked improvement from the Silver Arrows in recent weeks. Russell was in contention for the race win in Canada, while Hamilton battled to a podium finish in Spain. The victory at the Red Bull Ring was another step in the right direction, even if there was a significant element of fortune in the result.

Russell has finished no higher than 5th at Silverstone and the 26-year-old is 13/8 to finish on the podium. As for Hamilton, who holds the record for most wins at the British Grand Prix with an astonishing eight, is 7/4 to secure a podium finish for a 15th time at the Northamptonshire circuit.

Ferrari look to bounce back

Ferrari endured a disappointing June following Charles Leclerc's Monaco success and though Carlos Sainz finished third in Austria, team boss Fred Vasseur will be seeking a turnaround in fortunes at a venue they were victorious at in 2022.

Sainz, who is priced at 33/1 to repeat his maiden Grand Prix win, fended off the charge of Sergio Perez to prevail in a breathtaking contest, which included in an epic tussle between Perez, Hamilton and Leclerc as the trio battled for a podium position.

Leclerc is 25/1 to take the chequered flag on Sunday and 7/2 to add to his tally of his Silverstone podiums.
