The 2025 F1 world championship race is shaping up nicely and George Russell became the fourth different driver to win in the last four races with his victory in Canada two weeks ago.
Oscar Piastri more than doubled his world championship lead over teammate Lando Norris to 22 points despite finishing only fourth in Montreal and the Australian McLaren driver is favourite to give his team their first Austrian Grand Prix success for 24 years.

McLaren are facing increased competition from their rivals as the F1 season approaches the midway point but they hold a massive 175-point lead in the constructors' championship and occupy the top two places in the drivers' standings despite having their worst race of the season in Canada two weeks ago.
With seven wins in the first 10 races, there's no need for McLaren to panic just yet and Oscar Piastri looks a solid favourite to collect his sixth success of the season in the Austrian Grand Prix.
McLaren might well have won in Spielberg last year but Max Verstappen's aggressive defence of the lead against Norris seven laps from the end led to both cars being damaged and allowed George Russell to come through and win.
Piastri was a close second that day despite having started down in seventh on the grid after his best lap time was deleted for breaching track limits.
The McLarens were second and third in the sprint race in 2024 and given their general improved performance level this year they should be right in the hunt for the win.
Norris has often looked to have a slight edge in pace over Piastri this season but he has been plagued by costly mistakes at crucial times in both qualifying and races and the British driver is a more risky choice, even though he goes well at the track and earned his first career podium there in 2020.
Verstappen should not be far away but Mercedes have said they don't expect conditions to suit them in Austria and while Ferrari have a floor upgrade coming, it may only be enough to bring them into contention for the podium.
Phil Agius explains:
McLaren had a bad weekend in Canada but Spielberg suits the characteristics of their car much better and Oscar Piastri should be targeting a return to the top step of the podium this weekend.

Alternative Bet: Esteban Ocon points finish @ 9/2
The Haas team will be happy with their status after the first 10 races as they are sixth in the constructors' championship and Esteban Ocon looks underrated in the market to secure his fifth points finish of the season in Austria.
Ocon has finished in the top 10 at two of the last three rounds, with seventh place in Monaco and ninth in Canada, and he is ninth in the individual standings with 22 points.
Despite that, the Frenchman is in the bottom five drivers in the points-finish market and he should be hopeful of exceeding those gloomy expectations.
Ocon has posted some excellent results at the track for his former teams, including a sixth place for Force India in 2018 and fifth for Alpine three years ago.
The Haas team went well in Austria last season too, with Nico Hulkenberg finishing sixth and Kevin Magnussen eighth, so they know what is required for a top-half finish at the track.
Phil Agius adds:
Haas scored a double points finish in Austria last season and Esteban Ocon drives the track well enough to finish in the top 10 for the third time in four races.
