Every Premier League club's all-time top goalscorers

Widely viewed as the strongest league in Europe, the Premier League has been home to some of the most prolific goalscorers that the sport has ever seen.

While the likes of Alan Shearer will hope to have a cemented a spot in their club's top three for the remainder of time, others like Mohamed Salah will strive to extend their lead as the most efficient goalscorer for their respective club.

We take a look at each Premier League team's top three goalscorers since the competition's establishment in 1992.

Premier League

Each Premier League club's all-time top goalscorers

Arsenal

  1. Thierry Henry (175)
  2. Ian Wright (104)
  3. Robin van Persie (96)

Thierry Henry, arguably the greatest player to step foot in the top flight of English football, leads the way as Arsenal's top goalscorer in the Premier League with 175 goals.

A relatively big gap exists between himself and Ian Wright, who has found the net on 104 occasions, while Robin van Persie scored 96 times for the Gunners before making the controversial move to Manchester United in 2012.

Aston Villa

  1. Gabriel Agbonlahor (73)
  2. Ollie Watkins (69)
  3. Dwight Yorke (60)

Gabriel Agbonlahor's 73 Premier League goals earns him top spot in the standings for Aston Villa, though Ollie Watkins has the record firmly in his sights, just four goals behind with 69.

Dwight Yorke's career started at the Villans, where he scored 60 times in the Premier League.

Bournemouth

  1. Joshua King (48)
  2. Callum Wilson (41)
  3. Dominic Solanke (28)

We're yet to see a player join the 100-club for Bournemouth up to now, with Joshua King earning top spot in the list with 48 goals.

Callum Wilson sits shortly behind, having found the net on 41 occasions. Perhaps if Dominic Solanke had stayed put at the Cherries he would stand a chance of bettering King's 48 goals, but he left the club to join Tottenham in 2024, having scored 28 times in the Premier League for Bournemouth.

Brentford

  1. Yoanne Wissa (37)
  2. Ivan Toney (36)
  3. Bryan Mbeumo (36)

The standings at Brentford remain incredibly tight, with Yoanne Wissa recently taking the lead with 37 Premier League goals for the Bees.

Ivan Toney and Bryan Mbeumo are tied on 36 goals, though barring a return to Brentford for Toney, expect Mbeumo to overtake Al-Ahlis's centre forward and provide firm competition for Wissa in the standings.

Brighton

  1. Pascal Gross (30)
  2. Danny Welbeck (29)
  3. Glenn Murray & Neal Maupay (26)

Pascal Gross played 228 Premier League games for Brighton, and found the net on 30 occasions.

Danny Welbeck will hope to take the lead in the coming months, just a goal off Pascal Gross' tally, while Glenn Murray and Neal Maupay are level on 26 goals.

Chelsea

  1. Frank Lampard (147)
  2. Didier Drogba (104)
  3. Eden Hazard (85)

Chelsea have been blessed with an abundance of quality in the goalscoring department, but it's Frank Lampard who leads the way with the most Premier League goals for the club.

Despite scoring 43 less goals than Lampard, Didier Drogba boasted a better goal-per-game ratio (0.41) than the former England international. Meanwhile, Eden Hazard's 85 goals earns him a spot in third.

Crystal Palace

  1. Wilfried Zaha (68)
  2. Christian Benteke (35)
  3. Jean-Philippe Mateta (34)

Wilfried Zaha leads the way with 68 Premier League goals for Crystal Palace, almost doubling second placed Christian Benteke, who found the net 35 times.

If Jean-Philippe Mateta is to maintain his fine form, expect the Frenchman to overtake Benteke in the standings, currently just a goal behind with 34.

Everton

  1. Romelu Lukaku (68)
  2. Duncan Ferguson (60)
  3. Dominic Calvert-Lewin (57)

Everton introduced Romelu Lukaku to the club on a permanent deal in the summer of 2014, after impressing on a season-long loan move. The Belgian scored 68 Premier League goals in total, six more than second placed Duncan Ferguson.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin enters the list in third, scoring 57 times for the club, one more than Tim Cahill.

Fulham

  1. Clint Dempsey (50)
  2. Brian McBride (32)
  3. Steed Malbranque (32)

Clint Dempsey enjoyed five years for Fulham between 2007 and 2012, scoring 50 Premier League goals in this period.

While Aleksandar Mitrovic is perhaps the most memorable goalscorer of late for the club, he narrowly misses out on the list with 28 goals. Brian McBride and Steed Malbranque both found the net four more times than the Serb, netting on 32 occasions for the Cottagers.

Ipswich

  1. Marcus Stewart (25)
  2. Chris Kiwomya (18)
  3. Ian Marshall (13)

Marcus Stewart takes the top spot for Ipswich in the all-time goalscorer standings, finding the net 25 times in 62 appearances.

Chris Kiwomya fell seven goals short of levelling Stewart's tally with 18, while Ian Marshall's 13 goals is enough to see him take third spot on the list. If Liam Delap is to finish the season strong, don't be surprised to see him overtake Marshall by the end of the 2024/25 campaign.

Leicester

  1. Jamie Vardy (143)
  2. James Maddison (43)
  3. Riyad Mahrez (39)

Jamie Vardy is one of the most prolific strikers to grace the Premier League in recent times, scoring 143 Premier League goals for Leicester. Despite recently turning 38, he still leads the way as the Foxes' top scorer in the 2024/25 term.

James Maddison scored 43 times for the club before his move to Spurs, while Riyad Mahrez's 39 goals earns him a spot in third.

Liverpool

  1. Mohamed Salah (176)
  2. Robbie Fowler (128)
  3. Steven Gerrard (121)

In a list combined of Premier League greats, Mohamed Salah leads the way as Liverpool's all-time top goalscorer. While he comfortably sits as the Reds' top scorer, he will have his sights set on progressing higher up the all-time top goalscorers list in the Premier League, currently placed sixth.

Robbie Fowler, arguably Liverpool's most inventive forward in front of goal, takes second spot with 128 goals, seven more than Steven Gerrard.

Manchester City

  1. Sergio Aguero (184)
  2. Raheem Sterling (91)
  3. Erling Haaland (82)

No Manchester City player comes close to Sergio Aguero when it comes to goalscoring records in the Premier League, with the Argentine scoring 184 times in the division.

Raheem Sterling sits 93 behind with 91 goals, while Erling Haaland has scored 82 times for the Citizens, boasting an incredible 0.91 goal-per-game ratio.

Manchester United

  1. Wayne Rooney (183)
  2. Ryan Giggs (108)
  3. Paul Scholes (107)

It's no surprise to see Wayne Rooney lead the way for Manchester United, netting a ridiculous 183 goals in 393 league games.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who enjoyed two separate stints at the club, narrowly misses out on the top three, despite scoring 103 Premier League goals. Ryan Giggs earns second place on 108 goals, with Paul Scholes falling just a goal behind with 107.

Newcastle

  1. Alan Shearer (148)
  2. Alexander Isak (48)
  3. Callum Wilson (47)

Alan Shearer, the all-time top goalscorer in the Premier League, scored 148 of his 260 league goals for Newcastle.

Alexander Isak sits 100 goals behind with 48, though in the fairly unrealistic scenario that the Swede sees his career out at the Magpies, it would be no surprise to see him reach this tally. Callum Wilson, one goal behind Isak, is third in the list, having scored 47 times in the Premier League for the club.

Nottingham Forest

  1. Chris Wood (32)
  2. Bryan Roy (24)
  3. Stan Collymore (22)

Chris Wood leads the way for Nottingham Forest with 32 goals, a tally that he will be looking to improve on in the remainder of his time at the club.

Bryan Roy scored 24 goals in his three year stint for the club between 1994 and 1997, while Stan Collymore's short two year stretch for Forest consisted of 22 goals.

Southampton

  1. Matt Le Tissier (101)
  2. James Beattie (68)
  3. James Ward-Prowse (49)

Matt Le Tissier enjoyed a 16 year spell at Southampton, where he made 270 appearances and found the net on 101 occasions.

James Beattie, 33 goals off Le Tissier, is second in the Saints' all-time leading goalscorers, while set-piece specialist James Ward-Prowse takes third spot with 49 Premier League goals for the club.

Tottenham Hotspur

  1. Harry Kane (213)
  2. Heung-min Son (126)
  3. Teddy Sheringham (97)

Harry Kane leads the way as Tottenham's all-time higher goalscorer, and his 213 goals in Lilywhite will certainly take some beating.

While Heung-min Son has also exceeded the 100 goal mark for Spurs, Teddy Sheringham was just three goals off, finding the net 97 times.

West Ham

  1. Michail Antonio (68)
  2. Jarrod Bowen (49)
  3. Paolo Di Canio & Mark Noble (47)

Michail Antoni has provided his services to West Ham since 2015, scoring 68 Premier League goals in the best part of 10 years.

Jarrod Bowen takes second place in the standings with 49 league goals, while Paolo Di Canio and Mark Noble share the same record, scoring 47 times for the Irons.

Wolves

  1. Raul Jimenez (40)
  2. Matheus Cunha (25)
  3. Steven Fletcher (22)

Raul Jimenez led the line for Wolves upon their return to the Premier League, where he would score 40 times in 125 games, before making the move to Fulham.

Matheus Cunha, who has recently signed a new contract for the Wanderers, has scored 25 times up to now, while Steven Fletcher found the net on 22 occasions in the top flight for Wolves, boasting a 0.37 goal-per-game ratio.
