There are a clutch of players tied on three hat-tricks in UEFA Champions League history including Mario Gomez, Filippo Inzaghi, Neymar and Luiz Adriano.
Arguably more impressive is the number of players to score more than one hat-trick in a single season. Ronaldo achieved three during the 2015/16 campaign, while the likes of Messi, Lewandowski and Benzema have all clocked up two hat-tricks in a year.
