Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has been linked with a move to Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.
Pickford has been a mainstay for the blue half of Merseyside for the best part of a decade since joining from Sunderland in 2017.
He has made a total of 365 appearances for the club in all competitions and has played his part in keeping the club in the Premier League on more than one occasion.
The 32-year-old is in the prime of his career but Everton have so far been able to keep hold of the England goalkeeper despite a number of top clubs strengthening their goalkeeping options in recent times.
However, they could now be braced for some interest from further afield, with journalist Alan Nixon reporting that Bayern Munich are keen on Pickford.
Bayern are on the lookout for a replacement for 40-year-old club captain Manuel Neuer, with the World Cup winner likely to call time on his career at the club in May.
Pickford still has a number of years left at the top and he may want to test himself at a club who are competing for league titles and European success.
Everton's number one is facing increased competition with England following James Trafford's switch to Leeds United and a move to Bayern could help him to secure his place in Thomas Tuchel's team for Euro 2028.
Pickford has made 91 appearances for England and he could still have a shout of eclipsing Peter Shilton's haul of 125 international caps.
Whilst Pickford has been a fantastic servant to Everton, supporters are unlikely to begrudge him a move that could give him the opportunity to add some silverware to an excellent career.
