Everton Relegation Odds: Toffees 10/3 to go down after earning point at Newcastle

Everton are 10/3 to be relegated from the Premier League after an 88th-minute penalty from Dominic Calvert-Lewin salvaged a 1-1 draw against Newcastle at St James' Park.

Going 1-0 down to an early goal from Alexander Isak goal on Tyneside, Everton dug in to claim a vital point in the race to avoid the drop courtesy of Calvert-Lewin's first goal in 20 Premier League games, as the Toffees moved four points clear of Luton Town in 18th place in the table.

Despite this valiant draw, Everton set an unwanted club record of 13 matches without a win in the Premier League at St James' Park, surpassing their 12-match winless run at the start of the 1994/95 season.

Sean Dyche's side are yet to win in the league in this calendar year, with the Toffees last tasting success in England's top flight in a 2-0 triumph away at Burnley back in December.

Everton remain in a precarious position near the foot of the table, however, with relegation rivals Nottingham Forest recording an impressive 3-1 win at home to Fulham last time out and Rob Edwards' Luton still to host the Toffees at Kenilworth Road.

Everton remaining Premier League fixtures:

  • Burnley (H) - Saturday 6th April
  • Chelsea (A) - Monday 15th April
  • Nottingham Forest (H) - Sunday 21st April
  • Liverpool (H) - Wednesday 24th April
  • Brentford (H) - Saturday 27th April
  • Luton Town (A) - Saturday 4th May
  • Sheffield United (H) - Saturday 11th May
  • Arsenal (A) - Sunday 19th May
