Elsewhere, 23.1% of bet365 customers are backing Mbappe to be the top goalscorer at Euro 2024, with Real Madrid's latest signing also leading the way when it comes to UEFA Player of the Tournament bets.
Fleet-footed Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal is the most popular bet in the UEFA Young Player of the Tournament betting market, while there has also been some interest in England trio Cole Palmer, Kobbie Mainoo and Jude Bellingham.
Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes is comfortably top of the Most Assists list, with France and Germany leading the way as the most selected teams in our Finalists market.
bet365’s Steve Freeth said: “England were previously our most backed team to win Euro 2024, but they have been overtaken by France with 16.9% of Outright bets being placed on the serial winners as opposed to 15.8% on England.
“Mbappe took the goalscoring honours at the World Cup and we’ll be more than happy if he continues his record of not scoring at a European Championship, having taken double the amount of bets on him than Harry Kane.
“There are many expecting good things from Portugal and while the evergreen Cristiano Ronaldo has been supported for Top Goalscorer, it’s Bruno Fernandes who’s being punted at various prices to score, assist and walk away with the Player of the Tournament award.”
