It promises to be a fascinating men's 800m final at the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham as Ireland's Mark English and Great Britain's Max Burgin bid for glory on Thursday night.
33-year-old English is the odds-on favourite to win gold after producing a sensational semi-final performance to break the 800m European Championship record with a time of 1:43:49 - eclipsing the previous best time set by Olaf Beyer in 48 years ago.
Burgin won a first Diamond League 800m race back in May and will also be full of confidence after comfortably coming through his semi-final.
His compatriot Ben Pattison finished second to English in his semi-final and is a double figure price to shock the two favourites and claim gold in front of the home crowd.
Mark English - 2/5
Max Burgin - 11/5
Mohamed Attaoui - 16/1
Ben Pattison - 18/1
Francesco Percini - 40/1
Corentin Le Clezio - 50/1
David Barroso - 66/1
Marino Bloudek - 150/1
