In the week leading up to Christmas, there may not be any major events underway in the world of Esports but there are nonetheless plenty of minor tournaments for punters to get their teeth into.
Among the events taking place this week is the League of Legends Demacia Cup, the Doubi Cup in Warcraft III and the Dota 2 Xmas Show, while on Monday the final of the ESL Challengers League should attract plenty of attention.
DOTA2: Action in the Xmas Show
For fans of Dota 2, there is an intriguing tier two event in the week leading up to Christmas with the Xmas Show well underway.
The online tournament, based in Europe and the CIS region, has a prize pool of $50,000 and involves 14 teams.
Four of the teams involved in the event - Entity, Gaimin Gladiators, Virtus.pro and another to be decided, are tournament Final Stage seeds with the other 10 involved all seeded in the main stage, which has already begun.
The main stage of the Xmas Show is played out in a single round-robin format with two groups of five teams. Only the top two from each group are set to progress.
HellRaisers and YNT were in action on Monday morning, while in the evening PuckChamp are 13/8 to defeat Ancient Tribe, who can be backed at 4/9.
CS:GO: Team Spirit involved in ESL Challengers League
Monday also marks the final day of action in the Counter Strike: Global Offensive ESL Challengers League.
The event, which began in October and has a $50,000 prize pool, began with 24 teams but is now down to two with SAW and Team Spirit set to lock horns in the Grand Final.
As the upper-bracket team, SAW have a one-map advantage in the final but are 13/8 to win with Spirit priced at 4/9 to come out on top.
League of Legends: Stage Two continues in Demacia Cup
It is less than a month until the League of Legends regular season begins again but in the meantime fans of the Esport, and in particular China's LPL, can enjoy the Demacia Cup.
The Demacia Cup is an offline event in China featuring sides from the country's development league as well as the LPL and it is split into three stages.
Stage One has already concluded with only three teams progressing from it to Stage Two, which brought LPL teams into the fold and is a single-elimination bracket.
Stage Three will also be played as a single-elimination knockout stage with the four top seeds - JD Gaming, Top Esports, Edward Gaming and Royal Never Give Up - joining in on the action.
On Tuesday the tournament continues with games in the second part of Stage Two as iG take on Team WE, FunPlus Phoenix clash with Huya MOJ and Bilibili Gaming lock horns with the winners of Victory Five versus TT Gaming.

Warcraft III: Another double header in Doubi Cup
For fans of Warcraft III, the Doubi Cup has been in action this week and on Wednesday there is another double header of matches.
First up, eer0 are 4/11 to beat 2/1 shots Kaho before LawLiet can be backed at 8/13 to defeat Chaemiko.
Warcraft III: Colorful in action against Chaemiko
Chaemiko are also in action on Thursday in Warcraft III's Doubi Cup and are 11/10 underdogs to get the better of Colorful, who can be backed at 4/6 to come out on top.
Starcraft II: World Team League in action
There is more action in Starcraft II's World Team League on Friday as basement side CranKy Ducklings lock horns with mid-table outfit Shopify Rebellion.
Shopify Rebellion can be backed at 1/80 to win with the Ducklings priced at 12/1.
League of Legends: Time for final quarter-final in Demacia Cup
The offline Demacia Cup continues on Saturday with the last of the four quarter-finals in Stage Three.
