The Player Unknown Battleground (PUBG) competitive season reaches its conclusion this month with the start of the PUBG Global Championship.

Taking place at the Tropicana Gardens Mall Convention Center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the offline S-Tier event features the Esport's best teams from across the globe.

The event has an overall prize pool of $1.5 million and begins with a unique Circuit System stage, in which teams are initially split depending on their PUBG Global Series point ranking, before moving to the Grand Finals later this month.

The winners will be crowned world champions and the event features iconic Esports organisations such as Natus Vincere, TSM and FaZe Clan.

But they are not necessarily the sides with the best chance of going deep in this top-tier competition, so here is a look at the best betting tips and predictions for the 2024 PUBG Global Championship.

Twisted Minds to win PUBG Global Championship - 9/4

There are some big sides involved in this year's edition of the PUBG Global Championship, which first took place under that name in 2019, but it is hard to look past tournament favourites Twisted Minds.

Form is most definitely on the side of the Saudi Arabian organisation, who qualified for the tournament as one of the top-eight teams in the world thanks to their PUBG Global Series points total.

They reached their total thanks to some fine tournament performances throughout October and November, having won both the PUBG Global Series Five and the PUBG Global Series Six.

Those tournament wins followed another triumph in the A-Tier event, the PUBG EMEA Championship Fall, although they underwhelmed at the Esports World Cup with their 18th-placed finish.

But they also crucially won the PUBG Global Series Four earlier in the year, completing a historic three-peat.

They collected 300 PGS points for their win in the PUBG Global Series Six, claiming a total of 171 points, including an eye-catching 115 kill points.

The form they have shown throughout 2024 is hard to ignore and they are worthy outright favourites at 9/4.

17 Gaming to win PUBG Global Championship - 8/1

Those after a bigger price in the outright betting for the 2024 PUBG Global Championship should consider 17 Gaming at 8/1.

17 Gaming were runners-up during each of the last two editions of the PUBG Global Championship in Bangkok in 2023 and Dubai in 2022 and they could again go deep in Malaysia.

Their form since their last run to the final has not waned and they were runners-up at both Series Five and Series Six of the PUBG Global Series in October and November, just losing out to Twisted Minds.

But they also outperformed Twisted Minds in August's Esports World Cup event, placing eighth, and their previous success in the competition suggests they could be overpriced in the outright betting.
