It is hard to discuss any of G2's achievements without speaking about League of Legends.
G2 have won as many as 16 titles in Europe in the esport sphere and they remain the only Western side to have won the Mid-Season Invitational - an international event featuring the best League of Legends teams in the world - back in 2019.
Six Invitational 2019 & 2023
In the same year that their League of Legends side were impressing on the international stage, the G2 Esports Rainbow Six side won the Six Invitational for the first time.
They secured their second title at the event in 2023.
League of Legends World Championship runners-up
A maiden League of Legends World Championship still eludes G2 Esports, although they did make the final back in 2019, losing 3-0 to FunPlus Phoenix.
That defeat would have hurt, but a team outside of Asia reaching the event's grand final is no common occurrence.
