The first Major of the Dota Pro Circuit 2023 season plays its final day of action in the Group Stage as the final 12 teams will battle it out in the playoffs.
It has already been an exciting run for several of the teams in this event. Four teams atop of the Group A standings have already put themselves into a position to make a playoff run. As for Group B two of the top four spots have already secured their berth into the playoffs.
Teams like the Gaimin Gladiators, Team Spirit and Evil Geniuses were put into Group A. As for Group B Team Liquid and Entity have really shown their prowess in Dota 2.
It will be interesting to see which teams will be able to keep their momentum rolling into the postseason. Let's look at the Slate for Sunday as it is the final day of Group action.
What | Evil Geniuses vs. TSM |
Where | Lima, Peru |
When | 15.00, Sunday 26th February, 2023 |

Odds | EG 8/15, TSM 11/8 |
A very important clash takes center stage as EG and TSM face-off to kick off Sunday's action. TSM doesn't have much hope coming in as they sit 2-2-3 and tied for seventh in the Group A standings.
Just missing out of a playoff berth. They will have to outfox an Evil Geniuses team that sits in the third spot in the Group at 2-4-1. The team is 8-6 overall for this event.
TSM and EG haven't played each other yet in this event. Yet this isn't a first-time meeting for the organizations. These teams played each other twice in back-to-back days during the BTS Pro Series Season 13: Americas. EG emerged victorious in both matches winning the first 2-0. Before needing five maps to win the second meeting 3-2.
EG can't take an opponent lightly, but they certainly have an opportunity to cash in on a huge victory against TSM. Take EG at 8/15 to win this one.

What | LGD vs. Gaimin Gladiators |
Where | Lima, Peru |
When | 15.00, Sunday 26th February, 2023 |
How to watch | Dota 2 Twitch / YouTube Channel |
Odds | PSG 8/13, Gladiators 6/5 |
In what might be the biggest match of Group A on the final day of action in the Group stage. Gaimin Gladiators will try to keep atop the standings as they face PSG.LGD who is right on their heels heading into this match.
Gaimin is 3-3-1 and tied with Team Spirit heading into this match. PSG.LGD hasn't faced Gaimin since October 2022 when the teams met at the International 2022. That match ended in a draw as the teams split 1-1. A split is out of the question in this match as both teams will be out to outshine the other.
The Gladiators will roll with dyracho, Quinn, Ace, tOfu and Seleri as their five-man roster. Quinn came in as the new member of the organization when he joined the team in December.
PSG.LGD will counter with a five-man roster of shiro, NothingToSay who is on loan from another team partaking in this event. Li Longwu is in the line-up as well. The final two players are planet and y'. Wang "Ame" Chunyu finds himself on the inactive list for the team.
It will be interesting to see which team can take advantage of the start of the match. Given their recent success Gaimin Gladiators is going to be tough to beat in this match-up.
What | Team Liquid vs. Team Aster |
Where | Lima, Peru |
When | 17.00, Sunday 26th February, 2023 |
How to watch | Dota 2 Twitch / YouTube Channel |
Odds | Liquid (-1.5) 1/1, Aster (+1.5) 8/11 |
Team Aster has some work to do in the Group B standings as they try to sneak into the playoffs at Lima Major.
They sit at 2-4-1 and will try to hand a loss to the top team from Group B Team Liquid at 5-2. Liquid has looked like a team that can not only win their group but could also get the job done and win this whole Major. To ensure a top seed Liquid must not look past Team Aster.
Aster will look to Monet to lead the Charge as the team will try to quiet the crowd as heavy underdogs. Team Liquid has built themselves a very strong roster that includes miCKe, Nisha, zai, Boxi and Insania. This team has been near the top in finishes at big events in Dota2 over the past few seasons.
That includes a Championship win at ESL One Germany 2020. They were able to finish third at the International in 2022, and will be in a position to win this event as well. Taking Liquid to cover at 1/1 is the right choice.
