Following a two-week hiatus, the Call of Duty League is back this weekend with qualifying for Major Four on the cards and the need for points is intensifying.
Last month, Toronto Ultra became the third different Major winner in 2023, taking the Major Three title in Arlington and they will be eager to make it back-to-back title successes.
But with only two Majors remaining in the 2023 season, every team will be feeling the pressure ahead of this event as they scramble to qualify for the end-of-season Call of Duty League Championship.
Major Four will be taking place in Columbus, Ohio later this month with no fans in attendance, although Minnesota ROKKR will be playing a 'Home Series' on LAN in Wisconsin on Saturday.
They will be one to keep an eye on as will New York Subliners and Atlanta FaZe, who won the first two Majors of 2023.
What | Minnesota ROKKR vs Florida Mutineers, CDL Major 4 Quals |
Where | North America |
When | 20:00, Saturday 1st April 2023 |
How to watch | Call of Duty League Twitch channel |
Odds | Minnesota ROKKR 8/11, Florida Mutineers 1/1 |
Major Three did not go the way Minnesota ROKKR would have wanted as they lost their only match in the losers' bracket 3-0 to LA Thieves, falling at the first hurdle.
But ROKKR responded to that subpar performance with a serious roster change leading up to the qualifiers for Major Four.
The team have decided to bench 2015 world champion Dillon "Attach" Price, replacing him with amateur talent Kevin "Fame" Bonanno.
It remains to be seen how a change like that will influence Minnesota ROKKR's overall campaign but they are fancied at 8/11 to win their first match of qualifying against Florida Mutineers with this match set to be played on LAN in Wisconsin as a 'Home Series' for Minnesota.
It is also worth noting that, although Minnesota will not be happy with their recent performances, their opponents Florida Mutineers have been poor in 2023 and are 11th out of the 12 teams in the overall Call of Duty League standings with only eight match wins out of a possible 22. Back ROKKR to win this one.

What | Boston Breach vs Toronto Ultra, CDL Major 4 Quals |
Where | North America |
When | 21:30, Saturday 1st April 2023 |
How to watch | Call of Duty League Twitch channel |
Odds | Boston Breach 13/8, Toronto Ultra 4/9 |
Boston Breach began their qualifying campaign for Major Four on Friday and got off to a positive start with a 3-1 win over Las Vegas Legion.
That puts them in a decent position to get a good seeding at the next Major but on Saturday they are up against a Toronto Ultra side who were crowned Major Three winners in March.
Toronto also made it to the third round of both Majors One and Two and in their three Major qualifying campaigns in 2023, they posted 3-1, 4-1 and 3-2 win-loss records, meaning they have won more than 70 per cent of their qualifying fixtures this season.
They know how to secure a decent seeding and spirits should be high in the camp right now but there is not a lot of value in backing them to beat Breach at 4/9.
Instead, punters should opt for Ultra to win this 3-1 at 13/5.
What | LA Guerrillas vs Minnesota ROKKR, CDL Major 4 Quals |
Where | North America |
When | 23:00, Saturday 1st April 2023 |
How to watch | Call of Duty League Twitch channel |
Odds | LA Guerrillas 11/10, Minnesota ROKKR 4/6 |
In action for a second time on Saturday, Minnesota ROKKR are again fancied to record a qualifying win, having been priced at 4/6 to beat LA Guerrillas, who are 11/10 to prevail.
As mentioned, the roster change should not impact Minnesota massively in the short term and it is worth remembering they finished with positive win-loss records in qualifying for Majors One and Two.
Like Minnesota's first opponents on Saturday Florida Mutineers, LA Guerrillas have been one of the worst teams in CDL 2023, sitting tenth out of 12 teams overall heading into Major Four and they should be opposed.
