This year's Call of Duty League season continues at a furious pace with Major Four just over the horizon and qualifying for the event continues on Friday this week.
After a two-week hiatus in the season, the Call of Duty League returned last week with the first batch of Major Four qualifiers as the 12 teams competing bid to secure the best seeds for the main event.
As it stands, only two teams won both of their matches in the first week - Los Angeles Thieves and Minnesota ROKKR - while Toronto Ultra, Florida Mutineers and London Royal Ravens are all 0-2 at the other end of the standings.
There is plenty of time to put things right, though, with another week of qualifiers to come after this weekend before the start of Major Four, which will take place offline from Thursday 20th April 2023.
New York Subliners, Atlanta FaZe and Toronto Ultra won the first three Majors in Call of Duty League 2023.
What | Boston Breach v London Royal Ravens, CDL Major 4 Quals |
Where | North America |
When | 20:00, Friday 7th April 2023 |
How to watch | Twitch |
Odds | Boston Breach 1/7, London Royal Ravens 4/1 |
In the most one-sided affair of the day in Call of Duty League qualifying, Boston Breach are expected to wipe the floor with London Royal Ravens and it is easy to see why.
Boston Breach managed to reach the fourth round of the lower bracket in Major Three - a game away from the lower-bracket final - but it is their recent performances in qualifying which should stand them in good stead for this fixture.
Breach finished with positive records in qualifying for each of the last two Majors, posting a 3-2 record in Major Two qualifying and a 4-1 record in Major Three qualifying.
As for London Royal Ravens, they failed to make the top eight in either of those qualifying campaigns and are already down 0-2 after one week of Major Four qualifiers.
Boston Breach are 1/7 to win this match and to squeeze better value out of their price, punters should back them to ease to a 3-0 triumph in this match at 13/8.
What | Florida Mutineers vs Seattle Surge, CDL Major 4 Quals |
Where | North America |
When | 21:30, Friday 7th April 2023 |
How to watch | Twitch |
Odds | Florida Mutineers 10/3, Seattle Surge 1/5 |
Since losing 4-1 to New York Subliners in the final of the season's first Major, Seattle Surge have not done a lot in main events in this year's Call of Duty League but they are still considered among the division's biggest hitters.
In Major Three qualifying, they posted a 4-1 win-loss record, although they are 1-1 in qualifying for Major Four so far after a tricky opening week.
Seattle Surge first went down 3-1 against an in-form LA Thieves outfit but bounced back with a 3-2 win over Toronto Ultra in their second match.
But there is a bit of a gear change in week two with Surge expected to comfortably overpower Florida Mutineers, having been priced at 1/5 to win the match.
The Mutineers are 0-2 after two matches but they put up a fight against Atlanta FaZe last time out, going down 3-2 in the end, and they should make this more interesting than the prices suggest.
Go for a Surge win by a 3-1 scoreline at 6/4 or, for those after a potentially safer bet, the Mutineers can be backed at 4/11 to win at least one map.

What | New York Subliners vs Minnesota ROKKR, CDL Major 4 Quals |
Where | North America |
When | 23:00, Friday 7th April 2023 |
How to watch | Twitch |
Odds | New York Subliners 3/10, Minnesota ROKKR 12/5 |
The final match on Friday also features short-priced favourites with New York Subliners 3/10 to take down Minnesota ROKKR, who are 12/5 to win.
Minnesota are an interesting side, having gone into the Major Four qualifying campaign after losing eight straight series and going 0-6 in Major Three.
They responded to their dire run of form by benching Dillon "Attach" Price and introducing Kevin "Fame" Bonanno to the starting roster and that has sparked an immediate turnaround in form.
ROKKR are 2-0 after two matches in qualifying for Major Four, having dropped just one map across their first two matches, and they will be eager to pull off another shock against New York Subliners.
They are worth a bet at +1.5 on the match handicap at 10/11.
