North American VALORANT side 100 Thieves have confirmed they have released both Adam "ec1s" Eccles and Hunter "BabyJ" Schline from their roster.
In the VALORANT VCT NA Challengers, meanwhile, 100 Thieves are 3/10 to beat Luminosity Gaming, who are 12/5 to prevail.
The organization only confirmed the signings of UK talent "ec1s" and American player "BabyJ" in January this year with the former having been installed as the team's in-game leader.
And so it comes as a surprise to many that only one month later, 100 Thieves have decided to part ways with the pair.

The move comes after the Thieves made a disappointing start to the VALORANT Champions Tour North American Stage One Challengers.
After losing 2-0 to Cloud9 in week one, the Thieves went on to lose 2-1 to The Guard on Sunday, leaving them in a precarious position in Group A.
They will be hoping that the swift decision to get rid of both players will play a part in turning their season around and "ec1s" himself believes it was the right call, claiming there was a lack of chemistry in the squad.
Following the releases, the team drafted in American Noah "jcStani" Smith on loan from Pioneers.
Speaking about the decision to let him go, "ec1s" said: "This is a disappointing outcome but a needed one. Our chemistry in the server was lacking and it's better to confront that and move on.
"I love all the players and wish them the best as they continue on their journey this season. Time to reflect on the past and improve."
