Group C action of the ESL Pro League Season 16 continues into the weekend with plenty of victories still up for grabs for some of the more notorious teams in the field.
Complexity Gaming has been the frontrunner thus far in Group C and they will try to keep things in their favor with Astralis and MOUZ both snapping at their heels.
HEET looks to already be well outside of making any run at one of the top three spots that will advance into the round of 12 matches.
Heroic will look to try and hand Complexity its first loss as they face-off in Friday's action. ENCE and MOUZ will close the day out with an important match that can break a current tie between the teams at 1-1.
These matches could set up two very important days of matches with only two days left in Group C action after Friday.

Heroic couldn't get the job done in their opening match as they lost in two maps against MOUZ. They responded quickly however as they were able to take down ENCE in two maps in their second match.
Now they must find a way to keep that momentum alive against Complexity Gaming.
Complexity has looked the strongest of the teams in Group C as they have won their first two matches.
They needed three maps to escape against Astralis. They then proceeded to shutout HEET in their second match.
Complexity surrendered on Inferno as Astralis was able to beat them 16-9. Yet they quickly turned the match around with a 25-23 win on Nuke and a 16-11 win on Dust II.
Michael 'Grim' Wince was the big player maker for the North American organization as he finished with 75 kills in the win against Astralis. He followed that up with 41 kills against HEET and Justin 'FaNg' Coakley also pitched in with 43 kills.
Martin 'stavn' Lund has been the player maker for Heroic with 41 kills against MOUZ, but he couldn't repeat at that level against ENCE with only 36 kills.
Yet his team was able to get the job done. Heroic looks to be a little off heading into this match-up which certainly gives Complexity the edge.
What | ENCE vs. MOUZ |
Where | Salini Resort, Malta |
When | 13:30 ET, Friday September 16th 2022 |

Odds | ENCE -120, MOUZ -120 |
ENCE was able to start Group C on a high note as they easily took care of business against a far overmatched HEET team. The same can't be said about ENCE's second match as they lost in two maps against Heroic.
MOUZ was able to shut down the same Heroic team in their opening match only to be beaten in the same fashion against Astralis.
MOUZ haven't had much luck against ENCE in recent head-to-head matches. In fact, the MOUZ has looked terrible in recent memory against ENCE.
ENCE and MOUZ last met during the Roobet Cup 2022, and that was a three-map match. The MOUZ have only won one map in the four total maps they have played against ENCE. That won't get the job done this time around.
Dorian 'xertioN' Berman was the top player in MOUZ's first match as he finished with 48 kills. He didn't deliver the same intensity in the team's loss against Astralis as he finished with just 27 kills.
Valdemar 'valde' Bjorn Vangsa was the top scorer for ENCE in their victory against HEET as he finished with a 44-29 k/d ratio. All five players finished with positives in the plus/minus.
They followed that up with a not so pretty performance against Heroic as all five players finished in the negative. That includes a -16 for valde with only 27 kills.
Neither team has an edge, but there are plenty of players that could deliver. SunPayus and frozen will be the two players to keep an eye on this contest.
MOUZ might have the current higher world ranking, but ENCE seems to have their number, so expect a tough fight to the very end, but ENCE should prevail in the long run.
