Erislandy Lara made his professional debut in 2008, beating Ivan Maslov in Turkey. He then proceeded to make a name for himself in the boxing world with a number of impressive victories before beating Tim Connors in 2010 to land the vacant WBA Fedelatin light middleweight title.

Lara suffered his first draw against Carlos Molina in 2011 and followed that with his first defeat, losing to Paul Williams.

In one of the biggest clashes in his career, he lost via split decision to Canelo Alvarez in 2014. He would suffer his last defeat to Jarrett Hurd in 2018 before beating Canelo’s brother Ramon in 2019 to take the vacant WBA (Regular) light middleweight title.

Lara looked as good as ever in his recent knockout win over Michael Zerafa.

Danny Garcia turned professional in 2007, beating Mike Denby to announce himself on the scene.

One of the biggest results in his career was his 2014 win over Amir Khan to land the WBA (Super) and vacant The Ring light welterweight titles.

He didn’t suffer his first loss until 2017 where he fell short against Keith Thurman. He has since lost to Errol Spence Jr and Shawn Porter in an up-and-down career that has also seen him beat Erik Morales, Paulie Malignaggi and Brandon Rios.

His last bout was a win over Jose Benavidez Jr in 2022.
