England to beat Belgium

England v Belgium

International Friendly

England will be seeking to bounce back from a frustrating 1-0 home defeat to Brazil when they take on Belgium in the second of their two international friendlies at Wembley.

The Three Lions had the bulk of the possession against Brazil, but were unable to find a way to goal as the South Americans prevailed by a solitary goal scored by 17-year-old sensation Endrick.

One place below England in the FIFA World Rankings in fourth, Domenico Tedesco's Belgium will provide another stern test for Gareth Southgate's side in London, with the Red Devils themselves looking to respond after a disappointing goalless draw away to Ireland at the weekend.

England will be captained by Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice who will receive his 50th cap against Belgium, with Three Lions boss Southgate likely to rotate his starting XI from the defeat against Brazil with time counting down until he names his final squad for the Euros in Germany this summer.

Steve Clarke's Scotland will also be desperate to make amends after a poor result last time out, succumbing 4-0 to the Netherlands in Amsterdam despite creating a number of clear-cut chances.

The Scots will get the opportunity to get back to winning ways at home to Northern Ireland at Hampden Park, with Michael O'Neill's side picking up a creditable 1-1 draw away to Romania in their last match.

Despite qualifying with relative comfort for Euro 2024 this summer, Scotland are now without a victory in six matches, with manager Clarke likely keen to snap this winless run sooner rather than later.

Euros Play-Off Final

The most important of all of tonight's matches featuring the Home Nations comes from Cardiff, as Robert Page's Wales attempt to qualify for this summer's Euros through the play-offs as they take on Poland in the final.

Beating Finland 4-1 in the semi-finals at the Cardiff City Stadium - with David Brooks, Neco Williams, Brennan Johnson and Daniel James on the scoresheet - Page's side will go into the final with plenty of confidence as they look to reach their third successive Euros finals.

They face a tough task against Poland, however, with Robert Lewandowski and Co having pulled off an emphatic semi-final victory of their own after dismantling Estonia 5-1 in Warsaw.

Separated by just one place in the FIFA World Rankings - with Wales 29th and Poland 30th - this encounter has the makings of a cracking shootout for one of the final three remaining berths at this summer's Euros in Germany.
