England manager Gareth Southgate has announced his provisional 33-player squad for Euro 2024, with Crystal Palace duo Eberechi Eze and Adam Wharton called up whilst established international pair Marcus Rashford and Jordan Henderson miss out.
Eze and Wharton are two of four Palace players included in England's pre-Euro training camp, along with goalkeeper Dean Henderson and defender Marc Guehi, with the Eagles having finished the Premier League campaign in terrific form under Oliver Glasner.
There are also call-ups for Liverpool's Curtis Jones and Jarell Quansah, both of whom are still uncapped at senior international level.
Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw has been included by Southgate, but the 31-times capped defender faces a race against time to be fit for the tournament as he continues his recovery from a muscle injury.
Squad contenders who have missed out on selection include Ben White, Eric Dier, Reece James, Ben Chilwell, Jadon Sancho, Raheem Sterling and Dominic Solanke.
Three Lions boss Southgate will announce his final 26-player squad on 8th June, with England set to take on Bosnia and Herzegovina on 3rd June and Iceland on 7th June in two warm-up friendlies at Wembley before heading to Germany for the Euros.
