Following a masterclass against Paris Saint-Germain for Borussia Dortmund in the first-leg of their Champions League semi-final clash, Jadon Sancho is priced at 11/2 to make England's squad for this summer's Euros.
Transferring from Dortmund to Manchester United for £73m in the summer of 2021, Sancho struggled to make an impact at Old Trafford, eventually being loaned back to his previous employers in January of this year after a falling out with Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag.
A return to Dortmund appears to have been just what Sancho needed, with the ex-Manchester City youngster producing a sensational individual performance as Edin Terzic's charges prevailed 1-0 over Luis Enrique's Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League semis.
Looking unrecognisable from the unassured and often sullen figure who struggled to display his true potential at Old Trafford, the silky Sancho was able to terrorise PSG left-back Nuno Mendes at the Westfalenstadion - finishing the match with the highest number of completed dribbles (12) of any player in this season's Champions League.
To make final Euros squad - 11/2
24-year-old Sancho will now be striving to complete the job with Dortmund in the second-leg of their Champions League semi-final in Paris and compete in a Champions League final in his hometown of London at Wembley Stadium.
Should Sancho end this season as a Champions League winner, he will surely put himself firmly in the reckoning for international recognition as Gareth Southgate prepares to name his England squad for this summer's Euros in the Dortmund winger's resident home country of Germany, although the winger would have to usurp a number of big names currently ahead of him in the pecking order.
Part of a stacked pool of English attacking midfielders and wingers available to Southgate at present, including Manchester City's Phil Foden, Arsenal's Bukayo Saka and Chelsea's Cole Palmer, Sancho may have left it too late to earn an international recall having last turned out for the Three Lions in a World Cup Qualifier against Andorra back in October 2021.
However, with UEFA reportedly set to increase the international squad sizes back to the 26 players permitted at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar for the Euros in Germany, there could be an opening window for Sancho to sneak in should he continue to dazzle on the Champions League stage.
