England manager Gareth Southgate is expected to name his provisional squad for Euro 2024 on Tuesday 21st May, with the UEFA deadline for final selections on Friday 7th June - seven days before the tournament kicks off.
The current designated squad size for each nation at Euro 2024 is 23, down from 26 at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, but this may yet change ahead of the tournament with a number of national team coaches reportedly keen for increased numbers due to the strain of an intense footballing calendar.
With the Three Lions participating in two warm-up friendlies for the Euros against Bosnia and Herezegovina and Iceland on the 3rd and 7th June respectively, England boss Southgate will pick a larger training squad on 21st May before whittling his numbers down ahead of the team setting off for Germany.
