Energumene will be aiming to become just the second horse in history to win the Champion Chase three times at the Cheltenham Festival.
The six-time Grade 1 winner was victorious at Prestbury Park in 2022 and 2023, and a success in 2025 would see the 11-year-old equal the record set in the race by Badsworth Boy in 1985 for the most Champion Chase wins.
Energumene finished second behind Champion Chase favourite Jonbon in the Clarence House Chase back in January, but the Willie Mullins-trained horse was beaten by Shishkin at Ascot before exacting revenge at the 2022 Cheltenham Festival.
