The draw for the first round of the EFL Cup has been made, with Sheffield United hosting Wrexham, while Bromley's first ever EFL Cup game sees them face AFC Wimbledon.
Championship teams join at the first stage unlike in the FA Cup (with the exception of Burnley and Luton, as the highest-placed relegated teams from last season's Premier League), while Premier League clubs not involved in European competition join in the third round.
The first and second rounds are split into the North section and South section; beyond that, it's an open draw with no seeding.
