Early Payout Offer triggered in over 150 Premier League and Champions League matches in first half of the season
bet365's Early Payout Offer has been triggered for customers in over 150 matches in the Premier League and Champions League from the start of the season until 1st January 2024.
bet365's Early Payout Offer sees customers' selections paid out if the team they back goes two goals ahead in a match.
The bet365 Early Payout Offer has been paid out in 151 matches in the Premier League and Champions League this season up until New Year's Day (101 in the PL and 50 in UCL).
Perhaps unsurprisingly, treble winners Manchester City invoked the highest number of EPOs in both competitions - 10 in the Premier League and five in the Champions League.
In the Premier League alone, Newcastle, Chelsea, Brighton, Bournemouth and Burnley were involved in the most matches in which the EPO was triggered (12).
Vincent Kompany's Burnley side saw the highest number of EPOs invoked against them (11), ahead of Sheffield United and interestingly Manchester United on eight.
The quickest EPO trigger of the season came back in August as Nottingham Forest raced into a two goal lead over Manchester United after 4 minutes and 21 seconds at Old Trafford, before the Red Devils fought back to win 3-2.
This match was one of two occasions Forest invoked the EPO in the Premier League before failing to win the match, also taking a two goal lead at home to Luton in October before being pegged back to draw 2-2 at the City Ground.
This was also one of three separate occasions in which the EPO was triggered in a Manchester United game only for the result of the match to be turned around.
The Red Devils went 2-0 in front at Copenhagen in the Champions League before losing 4-3, and trailed 2-0 against Aston Villa at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Boxing Day before fighting back to prevail 3-2.
A total of 13 matches in the Premier League and Champions League saw the EPO triggered before the result of the match changed:
