A star-studded 16-player field will take to the stage at the Maaspoort Den Bosch with the top eight players in the world battling it out against a contingent of Benelux representatives including Dimitri van den Bergh, Kevin Doets and Raymond van Barneveld.
It should come as little surprise that world champion Luke Littler is the favourite, although the teenage sensation was defeated in the final by Michael van Gerwen in last year's edition.
'Mighty Mike' comes into the tournament off the back of a family break which saw him withdraw from the Bahrain Darts Masters and the Dutchman is third favourite to prevail before a home crowd, with Luke Humphries second in the betting.
Stephen Bunting was triumphant in the first World Series event in Manama and will be looking to continue his fine form heading into the Premier League, where he makes his return for the first time in 10 years.
Gian van Veen is the shortest price of the Benelux representatives with Danny Noppert and Jermaine Wattimena also looking to go far in the competition.
