Two of the biggest punching heavyweights on the planet are set to collide in Saudi Arabia this weekend; here's everything you need to know ahead of Deontay Wilder v Zhilei Zhang.
The heavyweight bout between former WBC champion Deontay Wilder and Olympic silver medallist Zhilei Zhang will take place at the top of the Queensberry v Matchroom bill on Saturday 1st June 2024.
Deontay Wilder v Zhilei Zhang is expected to get underway at around 23:15 (BST), although that is dependent upon the length of the undercard bouts.
Ringwalks for the main event are scheduled to commence around 15 minutes prior to the fight's start time, so expect the two heavyweights to start making their way to the ring at around 23:00 (BST).
The bout will take place at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The Kingdom Arena has hosted a number of mammoth boxing matches in recent years, including Tyson Fury v Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed heavyweight championship in May.
Deontay Wilder v Zhilei Zhang will be screenEd live on TNT Sports Box Office, whilst live-streaming platform DAZN will show the fight live to subscribers in the UK.
No belts will be on the line, but victory for the winner could catapult them back into the title mix.
Wilder is a former WBC heavyweight champion, but lost his strap to Tyson Fury in the second fight of their trilogy.
The manner of Wilder's defeat against Joseph Parker means he heads into the fight as the 13/10 underdog with Zhang, with the Chinese fighter, who was also beaten by the New Zealander in March, priced up at 8/13.
