Dave Chisnall v Michael Smith
Thursday 24th October (22:45)
Another belting first round tie will see Michael Smith and Dave Chisnall collide in Dortmund on Thursday night.
Now, it's fair to say that neither player has pulled up too many trees on television in recent months, but I do feel that one of these players will transform their fortunes in the coming weeks.
Both have the capability to go all the way this weekend, there's no doubt about that, and both will be desperate to set the tone for a productive few days with victory here.
I am backing Michael Smith to find the levels to come through this one, and I like the price of him to do that, whilst notching the highest checkout of the game.
Michael and Dave are rhythm players, so that should benefit them in this match, which leads me to believe that we could see more than six 180s across the match.
The more legs we get, the better the chances of that, and I am expecting this to go at least 10, which makes the current price appealing.
I've also thrown a bullseye finish in the mix too.
We've had one of these in each of the last two clashes between them, so don't be surprised to see another one land inside the Westfalenhalle.
