Two months after Michael van Gerwen crushed Chris Dobey in the World Championship semi-finals, the two men clash again at the 3Arena.
This time it's for a place in the semis of Premier League Night 3 rather than a place in the world final, but the will to win from both men will look no different.
The winner takes on the victor of the game between Rob Cross and Nathan Aspinall and with both Lukes, Littler and Humphries, in the opposite half of the draw, Van Gerwen and Dobey will be eyeing up a place in the Thursday night final.
Chris Dobey +1.5 - 5/6
Two years ago on the 3Arena stage Van Gerwen beat Dobey 6-3 in their quarter-final tie and went on to beat Welsh duo Jonny Clayton and Gerwyn Price in the semis and final respectively.
Van Gerwen and Dobey meet once again in Dublin and no doubt the Dutchman will fancy he can repeat that success over Hollywood.
Mighty Mike is, after all, one of just two players - Luke Humphries the other - who has yet to lose in the first round after just two weeks of the 2025 Premier League.
And there is no doubt he is going to have his supporters at 8/15 to see off a player in Dobey he absolutely crushed 6-1 at Alexandra Palace on 2nd January.
However, there's a case for thinking Dobey can turn the tables, or at the very least take the former world champion to the brink.
First, there is Dobey's form - and it's good.
That hammering by the Green Machine in London hit him hard and he didn't look comfortable in either World Series event at the back end of January.
In February, however, he is a different man. He kicked off the Premier League campaign in Belfast on 6th February with wins over Price and Cross before succumbing to Humphries in the final.
Five days later he was reaching the final of Players Championship 2 in Wigan where he was touched off by Price.
And on Monday he went one better at PC3 in Holland, seeing off class acts like Wessel Nijman and Krzysztof Ratajski to win the title, averaging over 100 in four of his final five matches.
Van Gerwen also turned out on Monday. It was his first floor appearance of the year and he was drawn to play a care worker from Ireland by the name of Michael Flynn, a Challenge Tour wannabe who only got in the draw because others had backed out.
Pretty much everyone expected a Van Gerwen cakewalk but Flynn was having none of that, holding his nerve spectacularly in a 6-4 win in which MvG averaged a paltry 92.4.
Van Gerwen will shrug it off, as he does all losses, but it was a blow and illustrates that every dog can have his day in this sport.
And Dobey is definitely playing well enough to be barking with joy in Dublin.
Chris Dobey Most 180s - Evs
Van Gerwen has found his mojo around the treble 20 bed over the first couple of weeks, but Dobey can still out-max him in Dublin.
These two have played an identical number of legs so far - 37 - with the Dutchman hitting 17 180s to Dobey's 14.
On the floor - and clearly Van Gerwen cannot be included having played just one Pro Tour match thus far - Dobby has nailed a season-leading 65 maximums in 175 legs, which is one every 2.7 legs, an off-the-scale level.
Van Gerwen will switch to 19s more than any top player in the game and Dobey can take advantage of that in a 180s matchbet where he can land the odds.
