Keith Deller MBE provides his extensive insight into Wednesday evening's Grand Slam of Darts clash between Danny Noppert and Mickey Mansell, explaining where he feels the betting value can be found.
Danny Noppert v Mickey Mansell
Wednesday 13th November (19:20)
Noppert heads into this contest having won the group comfortably, playing some great darts.
He was the standout performer in the group and, while Mansell won't be an easy game, I would expect him to win the match and produce the most 100+ checkouts.
While Mansell struggled last time out against Luke Humphries, he won his first two group stage games and will not make it easy for Noppert. For this reason, I am backing over 16.5 total legs at even money.
In a 19 leg contest, there will be plenty of opportunity for both players to demonstrate their quality and to provide the crowd with some impressive finishes. Therefore, I like the chances of two or more bull finishes in the match.
