This is one of the more intriguing ties of the group stages, and one I feel has every chance of providing a bit of an upset.

Beau Greaves is a real talent and she proved that she can cut the mustard at this level 12 months ago when she came within a whisker of progressing through to the group stages.

On that occasion she fell just short against Damon Heta, surrendering match darts before succumbing to a 5-4 defeat.

She did overcome Ricardo Pietreczko however, and she has every chance of beating Danny Noppert when the pair get their 2024 Grand Slam of Darts campaigns underway on Saturday lunchtime.

Either way, this game has legs in it and there is value to be found in both, 'Over 7.5' and 'Over 8.5' legs, whilst the 180 markets, for me, boast some betting value too.

Danny and Beau are both decent power scorers, and if we get the eight or nine legs that I am expecting, then I'd be stunned if we didn't see five or more maximums with Danny getting at least three of his own.
