Tour de France winner Tadej Pogacar is favourite to win the 2024 World Championship Men's Road Race in Zurich, Switzerland.
Slovenian superstar Pogacar is still awaiting his maiden Road World Championship title after finishing third last year behind Belgium's Wout van Aert in second and champion Mathieu van der Poel of the Netherlands.
(Odds will display when market is available).
Winner of both the Tour de France and Giro d'Italia this year, Pogacar will aim to become only the fourth cyclist ever to complete the Triple Crown by triumphing in the road worlds.
Irishman Stephen Roche was the last cyclist to pull off this feat way back in 1987.
Belgian Remco Evenepoel is expected to be Pogacar's biggest challenger in Zurich having claimed gold in the individual road race at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Reigning world road race champion Mathieu van der Poel is also one to watch, with the Dutchman striving to become the first cyclist since Julian Alaphilippe in 2020 and 2021 to come out on top in this event in back-to-back years.
