Crystal Palace open the new Premier League season with a trip to Brentford next weekend and they conclude their pre-season preparations with a friendly against Nantes on Sunday.
The visitors finished just above the drop zone in France’s Ligue 1 last season and this will be their last pre-season outing before they head to Toulouse next Sunday.
Crystal Palace v Nantes will be broadcast on subscription service Palace TV in the UK.
Crystal Palace v Nantes will be played at Selhurst Park in London and kick-off is at 15:00 BST on Sunday 10th August 2024.
This will be the first meeting between these two sides.
Crystal Palace are unbeaten in pre-season with three wins and one draw.
Nantes have played five pre-season fixtures, winning three. Their one defeat over the summer has come against German outfit Hamburg, the only non-French side they have faced prior to Sunday’s friendly.
Jean-Philippe Mateta won’t be involved for Palace after helping France win Silver at the Olympics, but he should be available for the trip to Brentford.
Aside from Mateta, boss Oliver Glasner is likely to name the XI he expects to start against the Bees in this final warm-up, although Cheick Doucoure may sit this one out after taking a knock earlier in the summer.
Mostafa Mohamed was on target for Nantes in their draw with Lorient last time out and should start at Palace, while Jean-Charles Castelletto featured from the bench in that game and could be handed a place in the first XI here.
