West Ham will look to boost their attacking options ahead of the 2024/25 Premier League campaign with the signing of Crysencio Summerville from Leeds United.
Manager Julen Lopetegui has been busy during the summer transfer window, having already added Max Kilman, Luis Guilherme and Wes Foderingham to his ranks.
The former Wolves boss is now turning his attention to attacking reinforcements and Summerville's arrival would provide a big boost heading into the new season.
Here is everything you need to know about West Ham's prospective new signing Crysencio Summerville.
Crysencio Jilbert Sylverio Cirro Summerville is 22 years of age and was born on 30th October 2001.
Summerville, who is of Surinamese descent, was born in Rotterdam, the second-largest city in the Netherlands, and he has been capped by the Dutch from Under-16s to Under-21s level.
The deal is reported to be worth around £25million plus add-ons.
Summerville is expected to sign a long-term contract at the London Stadium. The details of his salary are yet to be confirmed.
Summerville stands at 5ft 9ins and has a slender build. While he lacks in physical strength compared to others, he is an agile, quick-footed, fast winger that has an eye for goal.
Summerville is predominantly a right-footed winger who enjoys dribbling with the ball and running at defenders.
Although usually deployed on the left wing, Summerville likes to move around the final third and make it difficult for opponents to mark him as he is not tied down to one position.
The 22-year-old looks to create quick one-twos in the final third and, when the opportunity presents itself, he likes to use his pace, fantastic dribbling and acceleration to run at defenders.
Summerville is not the type of player that will produce hold-up play and bring others into the game, with his ability to take on defenders and carry the ball well his main strength.
