Cristiano Ronaldo 8/13 to score on Al-Nassr debut against Al Ettifaq

Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has been priced up at 8/13 to mark his long-awaited Al-Nassr bow on Sunday with a goal.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner completed his medical and completed the formalities of his switch to the Middle East before being unveiled to the club’s supporters, amidst a party atmosphere and huge fanfare, at Mrsool Park Stadium in early January.

The 37-year-old signed a mammoth £175 million-a-year deal with the Saudi Pro League table-toppers after departing Manchester United by mutual agreement in December, and had hoped to make his bow for his new side just days after touching down in the country.

However, the former Real Madrid and Juventus ace was forced to serve a two-match suspension from his time at United, which has forced the Al Nassr faithful to wait to see their new superstar in action.

Al Nassr (3/10), play host to Al Ettifaq (7/1) bidding to extend their narrow one-point lead at the summit of the table ahead of their Saudi Super Cup semi-final showdown with Al-Ittihad four days' later.

Having utilised the past few weeks to get back up to speed following the World Cup, the striker is expected to be thrust straight into action in Riyadh; significantly boosting his new side's hopes of capturing domestic silverware.

Ronaldo, who has netted an astounding 819 career goals, has not played since his country's World Cup quarter-final exit to Morocco on December 10, but has been earmarked by boss Rudi Garcia to start Sunday's clash, where he is 12/5 to score the first or last goal of the match.
