Oval Invincibles beat Manchester Originals in the final of The Hundred last summer and they are 8/11 to follow up their first win of the new campaign when they face Welsh Fire.

Surrey have come to dominate domestic cricket in recent years and so it is only logical that Oval Invincibles have started to impress in The Hundred given the big crossover between the two squads.

After winning seven of their nine games en route to the title last season, the Invincibles got off to a strong start this year, skittling Birmingham Phoenix for 89 before chasing it down with ease, knocking off the total with 31 balls and eight wickets to spare.

With the big hitting of Will Jacks, Dawid Malan and Sam Billings, the bowling of Sam Curran and the spin skill of Adam Zampa, it’s hard to pick a hole in this team.

Welsh Fire looked impressive in their first game, beating Manchester Originals comfortably, but this is a significant step up in class and they may struggle.

Haris Rauf and Matt Henry remain absent for the home team and they may simply be outclassed by a deep Invincibles squad.

The wicketkeeper has no issue scoring quickly, he broke the record for the fastest century in T20 cricket for any New Zealand player in 2020, smashing 100 in 46 balls.

The 27-year-old has made a half-century in three of his last six innings and made one of the biggest scores in this competition in the 2021 edition, making 80 against London Spirit.

Adam Zampa - Over 1.5 Wickets - 11/10

Adam Zampa put on a spin bowling masterclass in the first game of Oval Invincibles' season, taking figures of 3-11 against Birmingham Phoenix.

The Australian is one of the best spin bowlers in the world and can put on a clinic once again here.

Zampa has taken at least two wickets in eight of his last 10 matches and he looks a solid pick to repeat that feat again here.
