Surrey v Middlesex stats and head-to-head record (H2H)

Surrey were the inaugural winners of the T20 Blast in 2003 but they have not lifted the trophy since, losing in the final three times.

They have a resounding lead in their T20 head-to-head record over Middlesex, winning 28 of the 41 London derbies, and the teams have had contrasting fortunes this season.

Surrey fast bowlers Sean Abbott and Tom Curran have shared 29 wickets in the Blast, helping their side win six of their seven completed matches.

One of those successes was last month's 56-run victory at Lord's over a Middlesex side who have lost six of their seven completed games in this season's Blast.

Surrey v Middlesex team news

Surrey team news

International call-ups are likely to affect Surrey's team selection as Ollie Pope, Jamie Smith, Gus Atkinson and Dan Lawrence have all been named in England's squad for next week's first Test against the West Indies.

Will Jacks, Sam Curran, Chris Jordan and Reece Topley may be available after returning from England's T20 World Cup campaign in the Caribbean, where they lost in the semi-finals.

Middlesex team news

Middlesex are unlikely to make many changes to the squad who lost to Surrey at Lord's last time out.

County Championship captain Toby Roland-Jones has not featured in the Blast this season but in-form all-rounder Ryan Higgins could have a big role to play.
