Pakistan host Bangladesh in a two-match Test series starting Wednesday in Rawalpindi.
Comprehensively beaten by Australia in January, Pakistan will look to return to winning ways while Bangladesh were defeated by Sri Lanka in their last Test outing.

The opening day of first Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh is set to get underway at 06:30 BST (11:30 local time) on Wednesday 21st August, while the second Test is scheduled to start at 06:30 BST on Friday 30th August.
Both matches will be held at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Pakistan.
Pakistan have been utterly dominant in this meeting, winning 12 of 13 Test matches between the two nations.
The previous Test match saw Pakistan win by an innings and eight runs in Mirpur in December 2021.
Rawalpindi was host to Pakistan's last home Test victory over Bangladesh with the Shaheens triumphant by an innings and 44 runs.

Pakistan have named a 14-man squad for the Test series after opting to release spinner Abrar Ahmed and batter Kamran Ghulam.
Aamir Jamal is another absentee, with the 28-year-old failing to recover from a back injury.
Bangladesh will welcome the returns of Shakib Al Hasan, Shoriful Islam and Tasking Ahmed to the Test squad, with the latter recovering from a shoulder injury.
