It has been a strong start to the summer for Nottinghamshire, who are top of Division One in the County Championship and have won two of their first three T20 Blast outings.
Outlaws fans will be hoping their side can kick on and challenge for silverware this season, especially in the T20 Blast.
Notts reached Finals Day in four of the five years between 2016 and 2020, winning the competition twice, but a day out at Edgbaston has eluded them since their second triumph five years ago.
Worcestershire, meanwhile, have punched above their weight in one-day cricket in recent seasons and won the 20-over title in 2018 before falling agonisingly short in the final 12 months later.

It's early days in the T20 Blast so reading too deeply into form isn't without its drawbacks.
Worcestershire ran into a Ben Sanderson-inspired Northants last time but they had pushed Lancashire, who are second in the early standings behind the Steelbacks, previously and brushed Yorkshire aside.
The Rapids are a canny white-ball outfit and look interesting outsiders against Notts, who got nowhere near as close to Lancashire as Worcestershire did and have lost three of their last four T20 meetings with today's visitors to Trent Bridge.
The Outlaws will be happy with the start they have made to the County season but there doesn't look to be as much between the sides as the odds may suggest.
Matthew Ireland explains:
Nottinghamshire made light of floodlight failure to beat local rivals Derbyshire last time but Worcestershire could provide the Outlaws with a stiffer test, and given that they have held the upper hand in this fixture in recent years, the Rapids definitely have the ability to cause an upset at Trent Bridge.
The performances of batsmen usually dictates the outcome at Trent Bridge, a ground accustomed to big scores in limited-overs cricket.
This Bet Builder echoes that and anticipates that the Nottingham crowd should be treated to some big-hitting by both sides.
There shouldn't be much between the teams and Worcestershire's stranglehold over this fixture in the last two seasons makes them a value outside bet.
They will need their batting unit to come to the party and number four Adam Hose is a decent price to lead the way for the Rapids. Hose has scored 13, 54 and 27 in this year's Blast and may be able to cash in if he gets on top of the Notts attack.
Former Worcestershire batter Jack Haynes has begun the Blast with a bang and hit a superb 89 not out in Nottinghamshire's opening win over Birmingham.
The 24-year-old has scored 23 and 43 in the Outlaws' subsequent two matches so is clearly in decent nick.Haynes' match-winning knock against the Bears contributed to a tally of 455 runs in the Trent Bridge opener, and with runscoring anticipated to be just as free-flowing this evening, backing there to be 351 or more runs looks a solid option.

Matthew Ireland adds:
Runs are usually the order of the day at Trent Bridge and in-form batters Adam Hose and Jack Haynes can contribute to what could be another lofty match total.
