After finally securing a win in this year's Hundred, Manchester Originals could be in the mood to dent Northern Superchargers' hopes of making the final stages by picking up another victory at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Northern Superchargers, who were unable to secure a result against Welsh Fire due to rain on Thursday, are third in the table, while the Originals remain bottom, level on just two points with London Spirit.
Manchester Originals to win - 6/5
Despite a poor season, Manchester Originals seem determined to finish on a high after their 12-run win over Spirit.
Batter Phil Salt, who hit 58 from just 42 balls, and then three wickets from Fazalhaq Farooqi secured the victory and Salt admitted ominously afterwards that his side were "on a mission now to be the party spoilers", as he looked ahead to Sunday's date with the Superchargers.
Salt was definitely in good nick in London and if he is at the top of his game again, he can inspire them to a much-needed home win as Simon Katich's side look to finish on a high with one more game still to come at Birmingham Phoenix on Thursday.
Phil Salt - Top team batter - 11/4
Salt has already proven himself to be the difference-maker for Manchester this season and, after a slow start to the campaign, he has improved of late.
His man-of-the-match performance on Friday, when he scored four fours and two sixes on his way to a fine 58, means he has amassed 97 runs in this year's Hundred so far, having faced a total of 76 balls.
The 27-year-old scored a decent 34 in the Originals' recent defeat to Oval Invincibles as well, and previously also hit 40 in the defeat earlier in the campaign against the Superchargers at Headingley,
Harry Brook to be top team batter - 4/1
Superchargers' skipper Brook struggled to just seven runs in the no result outing against Fire on Thursday in Cardiff, but the England man has racked up a total of 120 runs, with only Nicholas Pooran performing better than him with the bat for Andrew Flintoff's side in the competition this year.
Brook is available at 4/1 to top-score for the visitors on Sunday and with the Superchargers in need of runs and a win to keep themselves in contention at the top of the table, the captain could be the man to inspire them.
Brook top-scored on Tuesday in the defeat to Birmingham, although admittedly that was only a score of 15 runs in a poor team display when they were bowled out for just 83, but he did shine in the earlier meeting between these two sides.
At Headingley, in Northern Superchargers' 14-run success at the start of the month, Brook comfortably top-scored for his side with 58 off 33 deliveries, a knock that included nine fours, and he can deliver again at attractive odds this weekend.
